Le rocher : The rock
Discover the Old Town through narrow medieval alleys which lead to the picturesque Place Saint Nicolas and Placette Bosio, to the Chapelle de la Miséricorde, to the Palais de Justice, and to the Cathedral, a Romanesque-Byzantine style building built in 1875. Quite naturally, your steps guide you to the Place du Palais, where the changing of the Carabinieri Guard takes place every day, at 11:55 a.m. sharp, in front of the Prince's Palace.
le palais princier :
the princely palis is the private residence of H.S.H. The Sovereign Prince of Monaco whose large apartments can be visited from April to October in order to approach the palace close to the heart of the history of Monaco.

MONACO CATHEDRAL OLD TOWN
This Roman-Byzantine style building houses the tombs of deceased princes. It is also in the heart of this cathedral that the union of the prince was celebrated Rainier III and Grace Kelly in 1956
Oceanographic Museum:
The Oceanographic Museum has been watching over the oceans for over a century. Created by Prince Albert I, great-grandfather of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, it was designed from the outset as a Palace entirely dedicated to Art and Science. From the ornamentation of the facades to that of the rooms, everything in the architecture of the Museum evokes the marine world. Since its inauguration in 1910, this Temple of the Sea has been an international reference. A place for exchange, culture and debate around the protection of the oceans. Culminating 85 meters above the Mediterranean, it raises awareness and offers a dazzling discovery of more than 6,000 specimens from all the oceans."
Casino de Monte-Carlo :
With its Belle Epoque building built by the famous architect Charles Garnier, the Monte-Carlo casino is a reference in Europe and the world in the field of games and entertainment. A must-see place for walks and visits. Beautiful architecture. The Formula 1 Grand Prix having just ended, there was still a lot of dismantling and celebration of the Monegasque winner. Pleasant surrounding gardens but too many buildings under construction. Possible entrance to the small slot machine room. However, you have to get there. Delighted with a great escape to Monaco.
Grimaldi Forum Monaco – Congress Center and Cultural
Center Inaugurated in 2000, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco - named after the Grimaldi family, historic rulers of Monaco - is today one of the international event venues.
Larvotto beach
The Larvotto seaside complex welcomes young and old for moments of relaxation with its shaded promenade, its beach and its restaurants. It is the only large public beach in Monaco (400m). However, it is artificial, and is located in the heart of very dense urbanization, which will not please everyone. It will delight anyone looking for a very well-equipped beach, allowing them to have a meal or a drink facing the sea! It is indeed bordered by numerous restaurants and lively shops.
Exotic Garden / observatory cave & botanical center
Entirely dedicated to so-called “succulent” plants (formerly called “fat plants”), this garden is like a gigantic rock garden, ideally exposed and offering a splendid panorama of the Principality and the Italian Riviera. The visit to the Garden is completed by visits to the Observatory Cave and the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology. With a developed area of approximately 15,000 m², the Exotic Garden is home to a thousand cacti and other succulent species with enlarged stems or leaves that store water reserves. Originating from the main semi-arid regions of the globe, these plants nevertheless remain very floriferous. The main flowering periods are winter (January-February) for South African succulents such as Aloe and Crassula; spring and summer for cacti, a family endemic to the American continent. The gigantic subjects which line the paths of the Exotic Garden testify to the antiquity of the collection which served as the basis for the implementation of the Exotic Garden desired by Prince Albert 1st. Opened to the public in February 1933, supplemented in the mid-1960s by a botanical center and a specialized nursery, this Garden is one of the busiest tourist attractions in the Principality.
